National Recognition for Inspiring Future Talent

On 1 July, MM Flowers and Inspire 2 Ignite were proud to attend the Enginuity Skills Awards as finalists for the New Talent Inspiration Programme of the Year award, recognising our shared commitment to developing the next generation of talent.

MM Flowers had the privilege of attending the Enginuity Skills Awards alongside our valued partners, Inspire 2 Ignite, where we were proud to be named finalists in the New Talent Inspiration Programme of the Year category.

While we did not take home the award on this occasion, being recognised among some of the UK's leading engineering and manufacturing organisations is an achievement we are incredibly proud of.

The nomination reflects the strength of our partnership with Inspire 2 Ignite and our shared commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for young people. Together, we have developed innovative programmes that help students and early careers talent build confidence, develop essential workplace skills, and gain real-world insight into the world of manufacturing and business.

From delivering our interactive MM Sim experience in local schools and colleges to welcoming young people onto site for immersive discovery, assessment and onboarding activities, our focus has always been on identifying potential and creating accessible pathways into employment. These initiatives have helped introduce young people to careers they may never have considered and provided them with the support and experience needed to take their first steps into the workplace. This is supported by our work delivering school and college engagement sessions, hands-on assessment experiences and apprenticeship onboarding programmes.

Being recognised on a national stage is a testament to the impact of this collaborative approach and the dedication of everyone involved. We would like to thank Inspire 2 Ignite, our colleagues who have supported the programme, and the many young people who have participated and helped make it such a success.

We remain committed to investing in future talent and look forward to continuing to grow opportunities for young people in our local communities and beyond.
