MM Flowers Partners with Inspire2Ignite

Community Meet the MM Team

We are happy to announce an exciting new partnership with Inspire2Ignite, a local non-profit organisation who work with both corporate and community partners to curate events, experiences and programmes to create opportunities for young people.

The partnership officially launched in January with a co-design session between the MM Flowers and Inspire2Ignite teams, launching the MM Sim Programme – an immersive experience into the world of MM Flowers.

Delivery of one of our first Engagement Days at Sawtry Village Academy

The MM Sim programme allowed us to shape engagement day sessions to deliver in local schools and colleges to students who are preparing to enter the world of work, competing in teams to create the most profitable cut-stem flower business, and giving students a unique, hands-on experience into the MM Flowers environment.

Our partnership with Inspire2Ignite has helped open doors with local schools and colleges and connect us with young people living and studying in our region. Through our MM Flowers Simulation Engagement Session, designed and delivered in collaboration with the Inspire2Ignite team, we have been able to equip young people with the key skills and knowledge required in our industry. Whilst at the same time educating them on who MM Flowers are and what it means to work here. Building on the initial engagements we are also committed to offering young people a route into employment, through our apprenticeship programmes. Without the support of Inspire2Ignite, none of this would have been possible.

These sessions coincide with the launch of our upcoming apprenticeship programme, launching in September this year, creating six apprenticeship opportunities across a range of roles within MM Flowers.
